"Tears In Heaven"
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were
hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams
of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they
each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the
distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from
the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together
in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands
again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so
long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Muffin
March 25, 1988--November 13, 2002
Muffin was my dog and the joy of my life. She was a parti-color Cocker Spaniel. Muffin was so
smart and I know she knew everything I said to her. I would wrap her present each year and put it
under the Christmas Tree and she would know which one was hers and open it. I loved her so
much and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. I wish with my heart each
and every day that she was still here with me. She was 14 years 7 months when she died. Oh, how I
miss you!
Kitty
January 1988--January 25, 2001
Kitty was my Mother's cat. When she died in 1992 we took Kitty as our own. He was independant but
would stay with Fred all the time. He was 13 years old when he died. Kitty, you brought joy and
laughter to our lives!
Max
March 8, 1988--June 17, 2003
Max was our Maine Coon. He was so beautiful! He looked just like a lion. He was a very big
cat but he was the sweetest cat we ever had. He loved playing with a string on a stick and
waiting until we went to sleep then crawling on us (all 25 lbs. of him!) to go to sleep. He was
15 years three months when he died. Max we love you and miss you so much.
